AWS re/Start is a full-time, classroom-based skills development and training program that prepares individuals for careers in the cloud and connects them to potential employers. A technology background is not required to apply. The program is focused on unemployed or underemployed individuals, including military veterans, their families, and young people.

Through real-world, scenario-based learning, labs, and coursework, learners can gain the technical and soft skills they need for an entry-level cloud role. AWS re/Start also provides learners with resume and interview coaching to prepare them for employer meetings and interviews.

Launch a career in technology with AWS re/Start

AWS re/Start is a free, full-time skills development program to jump-start your career working in cloud computing. A technology background is not required to apply and the program is focused on unemployed and underemployed individuals.

AWS re/Start and Pyramid Academy have teamed up to offer this tuition free, online program – in fact, you actually get paid a stipend to go through this training. Through real-world, scenario-based learning, labs, and coursework, learners gain the skills they need for an entry-level cloud role. In the program, you’ll also focus on professional skills such as adaptive communication, time management, resume building, and interviewing to prepare for employer meeting and interviews. You will learn cloud computing skills and prepare for AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification with complimentary access to practice and full exams. After you graduate, Pyramid Academy hires you and connects you with their clients to transition into working life. With Pyramid’s clients, you will be working on important and fast-paced projects that utilize the new skillset you just acquired through training.

Learn About the Program – Attend an optional information session with recruiters, instructors, and prior program graduates
Interview – Prepare to interview with a recruiter. This will cover general aptitude and behavioral questions
Start Learning – Learn cloud fundamentals & AWS Core Services with your cohort of peers
Get Hired – Begin your W2 employment with Pyramid and gain access to medical, dental, and more benefits upon program graduation
Prepare for Employer Interviews – Get connected with Pyramid Academy employers and prepare for interviews with Academy staff
Get Experience – Work with Pyramid Academy clients to get hands-on experience and advance your career!

US Citizenship or Greencard
Authorization to work in the US
Earned a high school diploma or GED
Willingness to relocate for the job, with financial assistance
Access to a computer and the internet
